How to really enjoy coffee!

Here are some of my must haves for an excellent coffee experience in no particular order of importance.

First of all the coffee should b distinctive in flavor. I love it a bit stronger and thus there should not be too much water in the preparation to avoid diluting the coffee. Where you want a stronger kick always go for a second shot. The type of beans used are also important. Thus far, Illy or Lavazza are good but don't let it fool you cos sometimes due to lack of skill in the brewing of the coffee, it's does not turn out nice too.

The coffee should be served hot, not scalding not room temperature as well. Always go with brown sugar, better yet if they provide muscovado (unprocessed brown sugar) and usually go with just a pack! Low fat milk is great as a healthy option.

While most coffee joints provide flavoring (I.e vanilla, caramel) these are nice to have and sometimes masks the taste of the coffee and makes it a bit too sweet. Thus far, adding chocolate, orange flavor or liquor are great compliment to the coffee drink.

Lastly, it should be appealing to the eyes as well especially if it's served with a coffee art and in the right coffee cups! An additional plus is if it comes with a nice biscotti to dip it with your coffee.

Of course, to really enjoy, don't have it after a full stomach! Take it either in the morning or during tea in the afternoon.
